FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Step 1: Reach out!

Contact me through the form below with any questions or concerns. Or just give me a call at (802) 522-6067. Or send an email to info@mindbodyawareness.net. I will always answer if I am free. But don’t be deterred if I don’t answer. Leave a message, and I will get back to you within 24 hours.

    Step 2: Preliminary Conversation

Via email, text, or the phone, we can set up a time to chat. This is free and usually takes about 20 minutes. I have a handful of important questions I will ask you to make sure I’m a good fit for you.

By the end of this call, we should have a decision as to whether we feel it is a good fit to work together. If you’d like to move forward, we can set up the initial intake session.

    Step 3: Initial Intake Consultation

The initial consultation is an intake session. I recommend an 60-minute session, as we will have so much to cover. And I really like to make sure you leave that first session with some answers and a plan. I generally leave slots open for intakes, so I can get you in as soon as possible!

    Step 4: Commit

I expect my clients to be committed to this process and attend sessions weekly. Only then will we see great results. In some cases, it makes sense to taper sessions to every other week. We can discuss this if it comes up.

In return for your commitment, I will hold a regular session time out of respect for your schedules (except of course in emergencies or extenuating circumstances). I work well into the evenings to accommodate work and school schedules.

The 7 pm slot is generally reserved for new clients and intakes to ensure you get in quickly.

    Step 5: Get to Work!

We will work together and collaborate. Sometimes, I am the expert, teaching you skills, providing insight, and leading the structure of the session.

Other times, I am your tour guide through the process toward healing and health, leading you into murky waters for you to find your own answers and solutions.

And then other times, I am just a trusted associate, providing safety and companionship, as we sort through challenges together. I won’t always have ALL the answers. But we will be in it together as we find them.

We will continuously evaluate your progress and adjust as needed.

  • The time is now.  You only have one precious life.  Examine how you spend time and see, how much of the time you spend in leisure is really benefitting you or your loved ones.  Decide if you can afford one hour a week for supporting change. If the answer is you have an hour.  Then you have enough time.

  • My clients find that they feel deeper connections to themselves, their higher power, and their desire for greater happiness. They also experience more depth of feelings and discover the mistaken beliefs they have about grief, sorrow, guilt, despair, trust, love and worthiness.
